Our Mission
FamilyCare is committed to fighting social inequalities in Cameroon and Central Africa by offering a space for free and supportive exchange. We believe in the power of community to transform lives, and we do everything we can to enable free or low-cost access to essential goods and services.
Our daily actions
1- The Charity Stock Exchange
The heart of our action lies in our free, dynamic exchange community, inspired by the LETS (Local Exchange Trading System) model. As a member, you can offer or request skills, services and goods from our solidarity exchange. In this way, everyone can find solutions to their day-to-day needs. The resources listed in the exchange are organized and allocated in order of priority, taking into account the need for proximity and the commitment of the requesting member.
2- Social and humanitarian action
Beyond our members, the resources of our exchange benefit all those in need identified by our hundreds of CareRelay members in their geographical vicinity. Added to this are our various sponsorship and mentoring projects, donations and fund-raising for various causes, educational support and training, and health campaigns. What's more, we're constantly on the lookout for national and international partnerships to bring solutions to as many people as possible.
